Welcome to the new 'What's On' bulletin introducing our programme of free or low cost activities and events to support unpaid carers. Click on the images or event titles for more details of what's on during April. We're also asking carers to click this link to take part in our survey and give feedback on other types of events you would like to see us organise and hold in the coming months.
 
Carers Centre Choir
12-1pm Fridays in the City Centre
If you love to sing and meet new people, can you take a break from your caring role on Fridays to join our Carers Choir? No need to book and the charge of £3 per person is payable on the day.
 
Self Care Through Mindfulness
10am Tuesday 5 April (Zoom event)
FREE taster session that includes an introduction to mindfulness, short meditations, simple mindful movement and some tools and techniques to enable carers to take care of themselves
 
Carers Walk & Talk Group
11am on first Thursday of each month
Join other cares on some FREE short walks at locations around Sheffield. Check for details by phoning the Carers Centre on: 0114 278 8942 or emailing: jan@sheffieldcarers.org.uk
 
Emergency First Aid
11am Friday 8 April (in person event)
We're partnering with British Red Cross for this FREE session being held in the city centre to help carers who want to learn some simple skills needed to deliver first aid in an emergency.
 
Fraud & Scam Awareness
11am Thursday 21 April (Zoom event)
We're partnering with Home Instead on this FREE workshop covering a range of topics with the aim of helping to protect our community of carers from potential online scammers.

We're partnering with British Red Cross to help carers learn some simple skills needed to deliver first aid in an emergency - take part in this FREE event from the comfort of your own home.
